I am an academic hematologist-oncologist at the University of Florida. I am board certified in both hematology and oncology, and I specialize in the treatment of patients with gynecologic malignancies. For many years, I also specialized in lymphomas.
RESEARCH
My research activities are focused participation in and development of clinical trials to promote novel drug application in the treatment of gynecologic cancers. I am also interested in quality of cancer care, quality improvement strategies, cancer survivorship, and social media in oncology and medical education.
TEACHING
I am involved in medical education at all levels and a frequent lecturer within the UF College of Medicine. I serve as a mentor and teacher of medical students, residents, and hematology-oncology fellows.
PERSONAL
I have a love of writing (and of food and cooking) and frequently can be found writing about food and life onmy personal blog. I live in Florida with my husband and two children.
